Yogyakarta and Lombok Geographical Location

In accordance to the earthquake that struck the island of Lombok (West Nusa Tenggara) few days ago, Jogja Village Inn Management would like to confirm that the distance between West Nusa Tenggara and the Province of Yogyakarta Special Region (Java Island) are quite far at 1,082 km, separated by other islands and seas. The Province of Yogyakarta Special Region which is on Java Island is part of western Indonesia, meanwhile Lombok Island (West Nusa Tenggara) is on the eastern Indonesia, therefore they are not on the same island.

With a considerable distance between Lombok and Yogyakarta, the earthquake that struck Lombok did not impact Yogyakarta, and the Province of Yogyakarta Special Region was stated safe from the Lombok earthquake
